Long days + late nights + post its and stale popcorn! And making friends again with the mic in the observation room of the fabulous UB Usability lab…

In my last Drupal usability study the focus was web developers who had never touched Drupal before, but this time around we’ve introduced what we’re calling intermediate users. Defining the experience level of a Drupal user is a big challenge – we’re only half way through but we’ve already had “beginner” and “intermediate” users challenge our expectations. More experience with how Drupal works under the UI seems to help new users grasp some concepts quicker, but their needs and expectations aren’t all that different.
